Terms of Use
Last updated: October 6, 2026
These Terms of Use apply to your use of Pantry Organization (“the site”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
What the site provides
The site publishes free guides about organizing a home pantry. They are general information only. The site is not written by professional organizers, dietitians, nutritionists or food-safety specialists, and it is not professional advice of any kind. We work to keep the guides clear and accurate, but we do not promise that every guide is free of errors.
General-information disclaimer
Not professional advice. Nothing on the site is professional organizing, nutritional, medical or food-safety advice. The guides describe general ways to arrange a pantry; they cannot take your particular home, household, diet or health into account.
Food safety and storage times. The site gives no shelf-life figures of its own and does not decide whether a particular food is safe to eat. For storage times, date labels, allergens and food safety, follow the directions on the package and official guidance. Where the two differ from anything on this site, the package and the official guidance take precedence.
Containers and labels. Containers, bins and labels are described as organizing tools. The site does not claim that moving food into a container, or labeling it, makes the food safer or longer-lasting. When you move food out of its original package, keeping the information printed on that package is your responsibility.
Shelves, racks and organizers. Whether a shelf, a bracket, a rack, a door organizer, a wall or a door can carry a load depends on the product and on the building. The site states no weight limits. Follow the manufacturer’s load rating and installation instructions, use fixings suited to the surface, and check any rules that apply to a rented home before drilling. You are responsible for how you install and load shelves and racks.
Results vary. Pantries differ in size and layout, and households differ in what they cook and buy. Sizes and quantities in the guides are examples, not rules, and we do not guarantee any particular result if you follow a guide.
You use the information on the site at your own risk.
Using our content
Unless stated otherwise, the text, illustrations and design of the site belong to Pantry Organization. You are welcome to:
- read, print and use the guides for personal, classroom, library or other non-commercial purposes;
- share a link to any page;
- quote short passages with a clear credit and a link back to the original page.
Please do not republish whole guides or illustrations, sell them, or present them as your own work without written permission.
Common ways of organizing a pantry are not anyone’s property. Our rights relate to our own written guides and illustrations, not to the general ideas behind them.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site. This includes attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with how the site works, sending spam or unlawful content through the contact form, or copying the site in bulk by automated means beyond what is needed for normal search engine indexing.
External links
Some guides link to third-party pages, such as the official reference pages a statement is based on. Those links are provided for reference and are not endorsements. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, Pantry Organization is not liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from your use of the site or from following its guides, including spoiled or wasted food, damage to property, and harm to a person. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how information is handled when you use the site.
